FALL RIVER- We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Maria Alice Biello, age 76, who passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the beloved wife to the late William Kenneth Biello, who was born in Fall River. She was the daughter to the late Jose de Sousa Dias and Carolina Benevides.

She worked at The Highlander over 15 years and was a simple, humble woman. Though she had no children of her own, she had a warm motherly way as she showed love and care to all those around her. She was a devoted wife, sister, and longtime parishioner of St. Michael's Parish. She will be remembered for her kindness, devotion, and loving spirit.

Alice is survived by her sister Ana Dias of Fall River, many nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Eduardo Dias, Eduino Dias and Hermenia Pavao.

Alice's funeral will take place at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Monday, September 14th at 9 AM with a funeral Mass to follow at St. Michael's Church. Internment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
