It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Isabel Carvalho, age 89, who passed away on April 13, 2024 comfortably at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Segisfredo Carvalho. Born in São Vincente Ferreira, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Jose Martins Viveiros and Maria da Gloria (Mello) Martins. Prior to retirement, she worked at Precision Sportswear, after working for Trina Manufacturing for many years as a cloth trimmer.

She was loved and cherished by her son Paul G. Carvalho and his wife Maria D. Carvalho of Fall River; grandchildren Eric Pereira, Tiffany Tavares and Garett Tavares; great-grandchildren Aleena Tavares, Camden Beausoleil and Cody Pereira; sister Maria Miranda; as well as several other family members who will sadly miss her.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, April 19th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph's Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
