Maria de Conceição M. Cabral, age 84 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025 with her family by her side. Born in Mosteiros, São Miguel, Açores, Maria was the widow of Jose Domingos S. Cabral and the daughter of the late Jose Medeiros Mateus and the late Helena (Sousa) Mateus. In addition to her husband and parents, Maria was also predeceased by her infant daughter Ana Isabel Cabral, and her son Frank J. Cabral.

Prior to retiring, Maria worked as a sewing machine operator for the local curtain manufacturers. Maria loved to tend to her gardens, and cook for her family and friends, no matter what the occasion was. She loved sewing and mending garments for her family, but most of all, Maria loved spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter and great grandchildren.

Maria is survived by her son Jorge M. Cabral; her siblings Emilia M. Camara, Serafim Jose Mateus, Maria Jose M. Almeida, and Jose Manuel Medeiros; granddaughter Kaitlyn Cabral; and her great grandchildren Aubrey, Lyla, and Lincoln.

Maria's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Friday, Jan. 10th here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Thursday, Jan. 9th from 5-7 P.M.
