FALL RIVER – Maria Liduina B. (Tavares-Beirola) Dutra, age 81 passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2024 with her loving and caring family by her side. Born in Furnas, São Miguel, Açores, Maria was the beloved wife of the late João Dutra and the daughter of the late Deodate & Connie (Beirola) Medeiros.

Prior to retiring, Maria worked for Whaling Mfg. as an inspector. She was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church along with her husband in which they would frequently attend 4:00 mass on Saturday's. Most of all, Maria loved spending time with her family and friends.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Pereira (husband João); three grandchildren, Kathy Elizabeth Pereira, Victoria Mary Pereira, and Scarlett Rose Pereira; a great grandson, Tristian Montoe Pereira; siblings, the late Antonio Pimental, Jaime "Jimmy" Pimental, Joao Luis Medeiros, Carlos Medeiros, Joseph Medeiros, Mary Jo Lima, the late Eularlia Medeiros; along with many nieces & nephew

Maria's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Wednesday, Dec. 11th here at 9:00 A.M. with a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M.
