FALL RIVER – Maria Eduarda C. Medeiros, age 98, passed away peacefully at Somerset Ridge Center on November 4, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Bento Medeiros. Born in Arrifes, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Margarida Costa.

Maria is survived by her children Jose Medeiros (late wife Robin) of Fall River, Margarida Melo (husband Ildeberto) of Swansea and Aldora Sousa (husband Luis) of Fall River; daughter-in-law Geraldine Medeiros. She was predeceased by her son Carlos Medeiros and sister Fernanda Costa. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, Nov. 10 ^th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian St. Michael's Church at 10 A.M.
