WESTPORT – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Fatima Frias, age 72, who passed on April 9, 2024 at home. She was born in Ponta Garça, São Miguel, Açores, daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Matos) Frias. Prior to retirement, Maria Fatima worked for Santoro for 15 years.

She was survived by her niece Rosmary Motta and her husband Tony, who cared for her for many years; as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Maria Moniz and brothers Manuel, Antero, Jose and Antonio Frias.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, April 13th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael's Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours on Friday, April 12th from 4-7 P.M.
