FALL RIVER – Maria Jose Quiterio "Jacky", age 55 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 in the comforts of her home, with her loving family by her side. Born in Faja da Cima, Sao Miguel, Azores, Jacky was the daughter of the late Antero and Mariana da Lourdes (Ferreira) Raposo.

Jacky had worked as a machine operator for a local latex product manufacturer. Some of Jacky's leisurely interests included playing bingo, dancing, and listening to music. She enjoyed pampering herself with bi-weekly Mani/Pedi appointments, going to the beach and swimming.

Jacky loved to joke around and was a very outgoing person, making friends with many people who she encountered. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Jessica Lynn Quiterio of Fall River, and Shaun Michael Quiterio of Swansea; her siblings: Maria Santa Raposo of Calgary, Canada, Maria dos Anjos de Oliveira, Herondina Viveiros, the late Antero M. Raposo, Lidia Rodrigues, Joao Raposo, and Paula Barreira all of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

Jacky's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
