FALL RIVER – Maria M. Vieira, age 56 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 in the comforts of her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Azores, Maria was the beloved wife of Eduardo Vieira and the daughter of the late Jose Cabral Palrrao and the late Virginia DeJesus (Terceira-deSousa) Palrrao.

Maria had worked as a Seamstress in the local Garment Mfg. factories. She was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church and absolutely loved spending time with her family and friends, especially with her two granddaughters, whom she absolutely adored.

In addition to her husband Eduardo, Maria is survived by her son Michael Vieira and her daughter-in-law Kimberly of Fall River, her cherished granddaughters  Arlayna & Olivia Vieira, her close niece Rosaria Penacho, who was like a daughter to her, of Fall River, two brothers Domingos Carlos Sousa Palrrao and Antonio Manuel Sousa Cabral both of São Miguel, Azores, many nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Maria was also the sister of the late Jose Luis Cabral and Maria da Luz Sousa Cabral.

Maria's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River with a Visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023 from 8:00-9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, F.R.
