Maria Helena (Araujo) Pessoa, age 77 of Fall River, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Maria was the beloved wife of Eduardo O. Pessoa and the daughter of the late David Araujo and the late Nazare DePinho.

Prior to retiring, Maria worked as a machine operator for New England Sterling in Attleboro, MA. Maria loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband Eduardo, she is survived by her children Jorge Pessoa (wife Kerri), Sandra Pessoa, and Susie Pessoa (husband Michael Adolfo). She is the sister of Humberto & Jose Araujo; and the grandmother of Justlee Pessoa, Javier Pessoa, Viola Pessoa-Cabral, Elias Pessoa-Cabral, and Jazmin Adolfo. She is also the aunt to several nieces & nephews.
