Fall River – Maria L. Viana (Garcia), age 95, passed away peacefully at Catholic Memorial Nursing Home on November 18 ^th .  Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Victorino Nicolau and Julia (Viveiros) Garcia.  She was the loving wife of the late Alberto T. Viana.

Maria was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Carlos A. Viana of Fall River, Jose T. Viana and his wife Lori of Tewksbury, Luisa M. DiManno and her husband John of Fall River; and her grandchildren; Andrew J. DiManno of Fall River, Nicholas J. Viana of Tewksbury, Allyson DiManno of Fall River and Brandon Viana of Tewksbury.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Wednesday, November 23rd with a visitation from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
