WESTPORT - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary F. (Thomas) Carvalho, age 65, who passed peacefully on June 11, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife to Arthur Carvalho and the daughter to the late Raymond Thomas and Helen (Ouimette) Thomas.

She was a creative and talented woman who loved making and decorating things, always adding her personal touch to everything around her. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and creating lasting memories together.

She cherished her trip to Hawaii and the happiness and relaxation that brought her. An animal lover at heart, she cared deeply for all creatures and even fostered a monkey. She found peace and fulfillment working in her yard, especially tending to her beautiful flowers. Her warmth, creativity, compassion, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew her.

Mary survived by her children: Anthony Carvalho (wife Julie) of NY, Arthur Carvalho (wife Laura Hayes) of NH, Raymond Carvalho (wife Ariele) of Westport, Eric Carvalho (wife Ashley) of Westport and Danielle Dias (husband Shawn) of GA; siblings: Helen Amaral and Joanne Thomas; grandchildren: Kaden, Gabriella, Lilian, Kyle, Avery, Abigail, Samuel, Grace and Theodore; along with several niece and nephews.
