NEW BEDFORD – Mary Margaret (Viveiros) Coutinho, age 56 of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Canto Viveiros and the late Maria Fatima (Mota) Gonsalves.

Prior to her illness, Mary worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk for A.I.S. in N. Dartmouth. In her free time, Mary enjoyed shopping, going on vacations, especially on cruises, cooking, especially during the holidays, being photographed, and finally spending quality time with her family and close friends. Mary was a devoted woman of faith.

She is survived by her children: Brandon Coutinho (wife Linsey Coutinho) of Fall River and Holly Copeland (husband Silas Copeland Jr.) of E. Providence; her fur babies: Whiskey and Billy; and her grand fur babies: Sophia, Gisele, & Jameson.

Mary's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday, July 21 ^st at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow.
