Mary J. Rego (AKA Peach and Hubba) passed away on January, 18, 2024 at the age of 91.  She was born on February 18, 1932 in Tiverton, RI. She survived her devoted husband Louis Rego WWII Vet of 49 years.  Mary's daughter Melody A. Rego of Fall River, MA with care and support for many years.  Mary also leaves behind Melody's boyfriend Mark A. Ekstrom of Middletown, RI and a son, by choice, James Denardo of Fall River, MA.  Mary worked many years as a seamstress, waitress at Howard Johnson's and a restaurant manager at the Candlelight Café.  She enjoyed a ride in the muscle car to go to antique car shows, car cruises and parades.  Mary also worked as a volunteer for Fall River Forever Paws Animal Shelter.  Mary also enjoyed camp fires with family, neighbors and friends.

Mary's family and friends would like to give a deep appreciation to all that helped in Mary's care and well-being.  This would include Margaret Correia for her dedicated Angle Care, to Kelly Buchanan and to all the St Anne's Hospital Doctors, Nurses, Pastors, Priests and Nuns.

A visitation for Mary will be held on Thursday, January 25th from 9-10:30 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
