We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2023, at the age of 100, Mathilda "Tillie" Lima of Fall River passed away peacefully at home. Beloved companion of the late Edward Medeiros and born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone and Mariana (Alves) Camara.

Tillie will be remembered fondly by her sons, Michael Lima and his wife Nilda Lima of Georgia and Paul Lima of Florida; grandchildren Michael Jr., Ashley, Christopher, Timothy and Matthew; long-time friend Joseph Braga and his wife Maureen; as well as the many neighbors and friends whose lives she touched through the years. She was predeceased by her brothers John, Manuel, Antone, Michael and Joseph Camara; sisters Mary Barros, Adeline Barreira, Hilda Megna and Martha DeForge.

Following cremation a graveside service for "Tilly" will be held on Friday, October 27th at 10 A.M. at Notre Dame Cemetery.
