SOMERSET – Matthew P. Martinville, age 55 of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, as the result of an accident. Born in Fall River, Matt was the beloved son of Dorothy L. Kershaw (late husband Rand James Kershaw), and the late Anthony Martinville.

Matt was an exceptional carpenter, and did work for various contractors. He was a member of the Somerset Progressive Club, where he spent time with a lot of his friends.

In addition to his mother, Matt is survived by his brother, Darryl Martinville, his nephew, Zachary Martinville, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Following cremation, a visitation for Matthew will take place on Sunday, Dec. 31st from 9:00-11:00 A.M. followed by a service at 11:00 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
