PAWTUCKET - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen Morrissey, age 74, on August 6, 2024 at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence, surrounded by her family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Clark) Morrissey.

Known as "Mo", she worked as a bartender for over 40 years, employed at the Union Ave Pub and prior, at Corner Pub of Smith Hill. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at Dunkin Donuts and loved Elvis Presley.

Survived by her children Marissa Morrissey (spouse Noel Carmenatty) of Newport and Carl Morrissey (spouse Jennifer) of Johnston; siblings Kathleen Fallon and Raymond Morrissey Jr.; granddaughters Jaida, Alyse, Skarlett, Emily, Briella, Victoria, Braelyn and Kiara; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members that will truly miss her.
