FALL RIVER - We are sad to announce that on the evening of May 30, 2024, Michael Resendes Jr. passed away as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Christine (Mayhew) Resendes and the late Michael Resendes. Along with his mother he is survived by his loving sister Torrey Resendes of Fall River, aunt and uncle Maria and John Barnaby, cousins Sherry and Ronnie Rodrigues and their two daughters Maya and Talia Rodrigues.

Michael graduated from BCC with an Associates degree in Accounting. He loved gaming, animals, fishing, especially boxing and everything about it. He exhibited strength and courage through boxing, as he battled against depression. Above all, he will be remembered for being a fun-loving guy, who loved spending time with his family and friends.

Arrangements were under the direction of Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
