WESTPORT – Michael G. Medeiros Sr., age 80 of Westport, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2022 in the comforts of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Fall River, Michael was the beloved husband of Rosalyn (Motta) Medeiros FOR 59 years, and the son of the late Joseph and Emma Medeiros.

Prior to retiring, Michael worked as a Supervisor for Plymouth Rubber Co. in Canton, MA for over 30 years. He was a loving husband and father, and an avid fisherman and gardener. He will be missed dearly by many loved ones and family members.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his oldest son: Michael G. Medeiros Jr. of Westport, MA; his daughters: Jodie Medeiros of Somerset, MA , and Kristin Primiano (husband William) of Warren, RI, and youngest son: Heath Medeiros of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; siblings: Marlene Jessman of Watertown, NY, the late Dana, Bruce, Mary, Nancy, & Betsy; 5 grandchildren: Gary M. Medeiros, Twins Benjamin & Cory Medeiros, Zackary Primiano, & Scott Primiano; 3 great grandchildren: David M. Medeiros, Lily Medeiros, & Hayleigh Medeiros; many nieces & nephews.

Following cremation, a visitation for Michael will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Memorial Contributions may be made in Michael's memory to, Southcoast VNA, 200 Mills Rd, Fairhaven, MA.
