Mounique Botelho, age 42 of New Bedford, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved daughter of Duarte and Clarisse (Costa) Botelho, the granddaughter of Maria Rego, and the fiancée of Willie Villanueva.

Mounique had received her Certificate in Psychology, and had worked as a manager in a shelter home for several years, and was also a sales associate in the retail industry. She loved helping those in need by helping them get whatever assistance they could. Monique was a very family-oriented person. She loved vacationing with her kids, and getting together with her whole family for things as simple as a lunch or dinner or a special occasion or holiday.

In addition to her parents, grandmother, and fiancée, Mounique is survived by her three children Moravia Botelho, Jediah D. Botelho, and Selah M. Villanueva; her sister Andrea Botelho; her brother Fabian Botelho (wife Mindy Paulo); three nieces; and many aunts uncle and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mounique's Funeral Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, 36 Rockland St., Fall River on Friday, Feb. 7th  at 10:00 A.M. Private Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery.
