FALL RIVER- Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to Muriel Abren, age 87, who passed away on October, 17 2025 at Mill Brook Rehab. She was the beloved wife to the late Philip Abren. Born in Fall River she was the daughter to the late Romeo and Blanche (Duval) Castonguay. She was a talented seamstress, known for her skillful handiwork and attention to detail in every piece she created.

She survived by her Children: Suzanne Payer of Fall River, Phylis Carreiro of Florida, Philip Abren Jr. of Pawtucket, Alan Abren of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Abren and siblings Norman Castonguay, Pauline Singleton and Rita Forgette.

Arrangements were under the direction of Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
