FALL RIVER – Natalia C. Soares, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2021 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Ildeberto Soares. Born in Furnas, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Maria (Costa) Rego. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and sang in the choir at Santo Christo Church. Natalie loved to spend time with her family, raising 5 children on her own. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Natalie is survived by her children Ana Soares Rego, Emmanuel Soares, Louie Soares and Nelson Soares all of Fall River, and Brenda Soares of Terçiera, Açores; brothers Joe and Louie Rego; grandsons Shawn, Shane and Johnathan Rego, Matthew and Brandon Soares; great-grandchidlren Mackensie and Raymond Rego. She was predeceased her brother Antonio Costa.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, December 18 ^th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael's Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
