Nazaria Senra, age 87 of Westport, MA, peacefully passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025 in the comforts of her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, Nazaria was the beloved wife of Umberto Senra for 60 years. They would have celebrated their 61st Anniversary in April of this year. Nazaria was predeceased by her parents Manuel S. Travassos and Rita de Jesus Vieira, her son Richard Senra, and her sisters Julieta Branco and Maria L. Abelha.

Nazaria loved gardening, baking goodies, and cooking her famous Sunday lunches for her family. She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren whom she helped raise.

In addition to her husband Umberto, Nazaria is survived by her children, Maria Theresa Santos (husband John Santos) of E. Brunswick, NJ, Berta Varao (husband John Varao) of Westport, MA, Frank Senra of S. Dartmouth, and Lisa Arraial (husband Carlos Arraial) of Westport, MA; 2 sisters, Theresa Santos and Bertha Travassos; 10 grandchildren, Matthew & Mitchell Varao, Brandon Santos, Alexandra Senra, Mason Frizado, Elizabeth & Emily Senra, Kaitlyn Santos, Tyler Arraial, and Sophia Senra; great grandson, Giovanni Varao; and many nieces & nephews.

Nazaria's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025 here at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George's Church, Westport at 11:00 AM. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025 from 4-7 PM.
