SOMERSET – Noel J. Cabral, age 81 of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 at St. Anne's Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Fall River, Noel was the beloved husband of Patricia Ann (Pacheco) Cabral and the son of the late Noel and Evangeline (Costa) Cabral.

Prior to retiring, Noel worked as a landscaping maintenance foreman for several years. He was a Faithful Navigator 4th Degree Knight for the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Donahue Council, and was elected to run the round table meetings. Noel was also a Constable for the F.R. Police Dept. and a Swansea Volunteer firefighter for 8 ½ years. He had also been elected as vice president and president of Station 3, and was a member of the Somerset Progressive Club.

Noel was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved his yearly trips to Laconia, NH for Bike Week with his wife. He enjoyed doing woodworking in the comforts of his garage workshop, and also enjoyed going fishing.

In addition to his loving wife Patricia, Noel is survived by his children Wendy Beth McMillan (husband Greg) of Chesapeake, VA, Cmdr. USN Ret. Noel J. Cabral III (wife Denise) of Carlisle, PA, and Cheryl Ann Tremblay of Fall River, MA; siblings Sandra Mazzachelli and Paul Michael Cabral both of Florida; 5 grandchildren Ryan Scott DeGagne, Amy Beth Bailey, Gracen Cabral, A.J. Tremblay, and Noel J. Cabral IV ; 1 great grandson Roland Scott DeGagne; and several nieces & nephews.
