Norma J. Velho, 48, of Somerset, MA passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones after fighting a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of 30 years to Carlos M. Velho.

Born in Portugal to Manuel and Maria (Vieira) Mota. She is survived by her "kids", Vanessa Miranda and husband Shawn, whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind 3 siblings; Eusebio, Marlena, and Diana (husband Derick), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Norma loved to have a good time. Whether she was sitting by a fire or hosting her annual Halloween party, she was always happy to have people around. She was welcoming and caring and she made friends everywhere she went.

She enjoyed decorating her home, shopping, listening to music, watching Lifetime movies, taking photos, playing crossword scratch tickets, and spending time with her favorite peanut, JaDiana.

A special thank you to the Case and Choquette family for all the care you provided to Norma during her last days. You filled her home with love and support and she would have been eternally grateful.

Norma's calling hours will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 6 ^th from 5-7 P.M. with a Service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
