Patricia A.
Ahaesy
Apr 5, 1945 — Mar 28, 2025
SOMERSET – With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patricia A. Ahaesy, who entered eternal rest on March 28, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antonio and Delvina (Sequeira) Daniel.
Patricia was a woman of unwavering faith, a devoted Carmelite Nun, and a servant of Jesus, whom she loved with all her heart. Her deep connection to her Catholic faith guided her through life's joys and challenges, and she found immense peace and purpose in prayer.
Beyond her faith, Patricia's greatest love was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose heart was forever full when surrounded by her sons and grandchildren. Her love was boundless, and she took great pride in nurturing, guiding, and supporting them. She found joy in life's simple moments—teaching her grandchildren to cook, sew, garden, and building snowmen—passing down not just skills, but cherished fun and memories they will hold forever.
A talented cook and skilled crafter, Patricia had a gift for turning the ordinary into something spectacular. She shared her creativity and passion for flowers as a florist at Red Velvet Florist, where her arrangements brought joy to many. Her warmth, kindness, and strong spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her sons, Daniel Ahaesy (wife, Lisa) of Somerset and Jason Ahaesy of Dighton, as well as by the memory of her late son, Kevin Ahaesy. She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Lapre of Fall River, and was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Sardinha.
Patricia's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Karyssa Silva, Joshua Ahaesy, Tyler Ahaesy, Patrick Ahaesy, Payton Ahaesy, Zachary Spring, Julia Ahaesy, Laura-Kate Ahaesy, Keria Ahaesy, and Alivia Ahaesy; and her great-grandchildren: Mason Silva, Jordan Ahaesy, Addison Ahaesy, Adelynn Silva, Gracie Silva, and Zayden Ahaesy. She will also be missed by many other family members and dear friends, especially her much-loved friend and protector, Lucy Simao.
Her funeral service will be held at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 11 A.M. Visitation will take place that morning from 9–11 A.M.
To honor Patricia's memory, please leave a sympathy message for the family at www.rogersfuneral.com. You may also light a candle in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity or give an extra long hug to someone who needs it most.
