Richard Nelson Biello, age 87 and a longtime resident of Swansea, MA peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Richard was born in Fall River to the late Anthony and Mary Julia (Oliveira) Biello.  Richard was the beloved husband of 62 years to Patricia Ann (Shaw) Biello.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, Richard is survived by his two children, Richard N. Biello, Jr. and partner Marie Sousa of Swansea, MA and Lisa Wilson and her husband Larry Wilson of Bristol, RI; his granddaughter Lydia Wilson whom he cherished and adored, and many nieces & nephews. Richard was predeceased by his siblings Gabriel, John, Anthony, Roland, Dorothy, William (Billy) and Norman.

Richard graduated from Diman Vocational School in 1955. He established his own electrical contracting business in 1964 under the name Biello Electric Co. He was a successful sole proprietor for over 50 years.  Richard enjoyed an active life.  He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid tennis player for many years.  Richard and Pat were regulars at Magoni's Restaurant in Somerset for over 40 years. They would have dinner every Friday night with their close friends. Richard also loved music and dancing.  He attended many rock concerts and always enjoyed dancing with his wife and her friends.

Richard fulfilled his dream of building a summer cottage in Maine near Acadia National Park where he and Pat honeymooned. They were fortunate to have many friends and family members who helped them build their cottage. Richard and Pat enjoyed sitting on their deck overlooking Goose Cove and the beautiful mountains of Acadia. As Richard would always say "a million-dollar view".
