FALL RIVER – Richard J. Ferreira, age 76 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at St. Anne's Hospital. Richard was the son of the late Mariano and Elsie (Quintal) Ferreira, and the companion of 40 years to Margaret L. Amaral.

Prior to retiring in 2024, Richard worked for many years at St. Anne's Hospital as a housekeeper. Richard loved his work and took great pride in doing his job.

In addition to his longtime companion Margaret, Richard is survived by his two sisters Judy Correia and Nancy Soderstrom.
