It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert J. Wing "Bob" at the age of 75 of Swansea, Ma.  Bob passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at Mass. General Hospital on February 17, 2026, leaving a void that can never be filled. Bob was the beloved husband of 24 years to Pamela (Alves) Wing and was predeceased by his parents James & Dorothy (Medeiros) Wing, his daughter Jennee Wing, and sister Beverly Ann Vickery.

Bob worked as a contractor for the US Postal Service for over 25 years. He was a proud member of the Border City Club, and the Afonso Costa Republican Club. He was an avid golfer at Hidden Hollow Country Club and other local golf courses. Bob enjoyed playing foursomes with friends and family and always came home with many stories to tell. Bob was an enthusiastic N.E. Sports fan including the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and trying his luck at the casinos. During the warmer months you could always find Bob sitting on the front porch with his wife and dog Winston.  He was a friend to everyone in the neighborhood and even their children would stop by to say hello. Bob and Pam had a special and loving relationship, and he was proud to call her his honey. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

The thing that Bob enjoyed most was hosting parties at his home.  Christmas Eve and July 4th were annual events. Bob and Pam would cook for days in preparation for the parties. Bob had a way of making everyone feel welcome even if he did not know you when you got there, he was a friend when you left.

In addition to his wife Pam, Bob is survived by his son Robert J. Wing Jr. & his wife Jennifer of Swansea, Mass. Todd Langlois & his wife Joscelyne of Tiverton, R.I. and Chad Langlois; and Elisha Dumont; his brother Thomas (Bear) J. Wing and wife Cindy of Swansea, Ma; grandchildren Elise, Jason, Lauren, & Nathan Wing; Maddison, Myles, & Brayden Langlois.

**Due to the record breaking snow total, all services for Robert J. Wing that were scheduled for Wednesday, 25th & Thursday, February 24th  have been postponed. Bob's Re-scheduled Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Wednesday, March 4th here at 8:45 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
