FALL RIVER – Robert M. "Redneck" Jefferson Jr., age 64, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Middleboro, he was the son of the late Robert M. Jefferson Sr. and Florence (Pittsley) Patistea.

Robert earned the nickname "Redneck" for good reason, as it reflected his love for fishing, playing pool, NASCAR, and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, who spent most of his life committed to his work. A proud member of the Liberal Club and St. John's Athletic Club, where he treasured the time he spent with friends.

He is survived by his siblings Michael Jefferson, Lisa Phaneuf (husband Kennith), Joanne Johnson, Cheryl Grey, Patricia Soares (husband Tony); step-father David Patistea; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends, who will sadly miss him.

Robert's funeral service will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Friday, January 17th here at 11:00 AM. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday, January 16th from 5-7 PM.
