SOMERSET - We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2024, Roger Bougie, at the age of 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Husband of Judy (Howard) Bougie, and born in Fall River, son of the late Roger Bougie and Doris (Comeau) Hill.

Before retiring, Roger worked as a manager at Fernandes Market. He was also employed at various local stores, including Economy Liquors and Lee's Market. Roger had a passion for many things, particularly antique cars. He loved going on daily car rides and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Patriots. Roger also enjoyed smoking cigars and his occasional pipe. He took pleasure in playing his daily numbers and watching Fox News. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially during Sunday dinners.

Roger was a devoted father to his 3 daughters Jennifer Jacob (husband Adelino) of Fall River, Stephanie Addison (partner Michael Bernat) of Fall River and Elizabeth Ledoux (husband Jason) of Somerset; grandfather to Conor Addison (wife Katherine), Gwyneth and Margaret Addison, Cameron and Chace Jacob, Gabrielle and Sophia Ledoux; brother of Elyse Titus, Richard Bougie and Anne Marie Arner. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Gladys Howard and multiple nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

His calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, June 4th from 4-8 P.M. with a service at 7 P.M. Cremation to follow.
