REHOBOTH – Ronald Melanson, age 79, passed away on Dec. 15, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of the late Constance (Rapoza) Melanson and the son of the late Gildard & Lillian (Souza) Melanson. In addition to his wife and parents, Ronald was also predeceased by all of his siblings.

Ronald was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired from Duro Finishing where he worked as a utility worker. He was also an avid Car enthusiast.

He is survived by his two sons David M. Melanson (wife Michelle) of Taunton, and Derek J. Melanson (wife Stacee Fournier) of N. Smithfield.

A visitation for Ronald will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 23rd from 9:30-11:30 AM with a service at 11:30 at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. To send the family Expressions of Sympathy, please click the Guest Book below.
