ASSONET – Ronald J. Michael Jr., age 56 of Assonet and previously of Somerset, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022. Ronnie was the beloved husband of Lisa M. (Lambert) Michael, the loving father of Nathan (girlfriend Ryann Hall) & Matthew Michael (girlfriend Callie Nee), and the son of Ronald J. & Janice (Ferreira) Michael.

Prior to recently retiring, Ronnie worked as a Union Carpet Installer for 35 yrs. with Ruggieri Brothers. He loved the outdoors, especially gardening & landscaping, camping, long walks and bike rides with his wife Lisa, especially on the Cape Cod Canal, and spending time with family & friends.

He was very passionate about sports and he was heavily involved in coaching his sons through Pop Warner Football and SIBL organization. Everyone who knew Ronnie, knew never to call on a Sunday while the Raiders were on TV.

Ron's smile, sense of humor, and ability to share humorous stories will be dearly missed.

Ronnie is also survived by his siblings; Wendy Soares (husband Rodney), Kerri Cabral (husband Tim), and Keith Michael (wife Mary Lou), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours for Ron will take place on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022 from 4-8 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., E. Freetown, MA. Everyone, Please Meet Directly At The Church.
