FALL RIVER - We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ronald G. Monast, at the age of 63. He leaves behind his wife Lori (Correia) Monast. They shared 37 years together. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Delphis and Rhea (Reney) Monast. Ronald was employed by RI Analytical Laboratories Inc as a Senior Chemist for 22 years before retiring in 2015. His most fulfilling job was driving a school bus for Whaling City Transit Inc., which carried children with special needs. Ronald was associated with the Boys & Girls Club for many years. In his early years, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a 1978 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School. Ronald was an avid bowler at Westport Holiday Lanes. He enjoyed life to its fullest but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and children.

He was loved and cherished by many people including his children Michael Monast and Lauren Monast, both of Fall River; siblings Gloria Hubert, Delphis "Peter" Monast (wife Carol), Michael Monast, Carol Ramos (husband Arthur), Jeanne Holland (the late husband Jeff) and Theresa Bigelow; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, who will sadly miss him.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, April 27th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph's Parish at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours on Wednesday, April 26th from 4-8 P.M.
