Ronald A. Mucci, 76, of Tiverton, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully in his home on September 13th.

Ronald was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, to Alvero and Mary Mucci.

Ronald completed his doctorate at the University of Rhode Island in electrical engineering and produced a number of patents for sonar related sciences during his career. He loved being outdoors, filling his time with gardening, biking, hiking, skiing, skating, playing tennis, running… Ron never stood still. In his retirement, he became a Master Gardener and applied his scientific nature to the biology of soil and growing vegetables as well as keeping bees and producing honey.

Ronald was a kind and loving brother to his sister Paula, as well as a devoted father to his son Ronald Jr. and daughter Meridith. His favorite saying was "I'll  rest when I am dead', and this is exactly what he is doing now, resting in peace.

Ronald will be remembered fondly by his sister, children, nephew, and four grandchildren as well as the many neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and friends whose lives he touched through the years.

Ronald's memorial service will take place on October 22 from 2 - 5pm at the Little Compton Game Club, 88 John Dyer Rd in Little Compton, RI . All are welcome. Arrangements were under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
