Rosalie Arruda, age 78 of Fall River, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Rosalie was the beloved wife to Frank Arruda for 59 yrs. and the daughter of the late Augustine & Mary (Terceira) Costa.

Most of her life, Rosalie worked as a sewing machine operator in the garment industry, and prior to retiring, she worked as an assembler for a local window manufacturer. Rosalie loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Rosalie enjoyed playing bingo , doing puzzles with her grandchildren, and watching game shows.

In addition to her husband Frank, survivors include her two loving daughters: Christine DaCunha of Fall River and Elaine Arruda of Somerset; siblings: Naomi Fournier, Augustine Costa Jr., & Steven Costa; granddaughters: Shannon Caetano (spouse Eric) & Ashley DaCunha (partner Rebecca Collins); great grandchildren: Tessa Paz, Camden Oliver, Alyssa & Braela Caetano, Darius, Anecia, and Olivia Collins; several nieces & nephews.

Rosalie was the sister of the late Lydia Lizotte. Rosalie's family would like to recognize all of the wonderful people & professionals that gave their time and compassion to aid in her comfort & well being throughout her final years.

Rosalie's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA on Thursday, June 9th here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Wednesday, June 8th from 5-7 P.M.
