PORT ST. LUCIE - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rosalina (Lima) Amarello, formerly of Fall River, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Amarello. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Alexandrina (Cordeiro) Lima.

She was loved and cherished by many, including her daughter Joyce Moscovich and husband Hershi of Florida, her late son Michael Amarello; grandchildren Jesse Almeida and Amalia Moscovich. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Carol Gaisford, Bobby and David Lima, Pamela Lima, Gail Dybowski and the late Kenneth Machado. She was the sister of the late Diamentina (Di) Machado, Alexandrina Dybowski, Mary Lima, John Lima Jr., Antone (Hap) Lima and Dennis Lima; as well as many other family members who will sadly miss her.

Following cremation, Rosalina's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday, April 18th here at 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Due to the closure of St. Michael's Church the week of April 15th, Rosalina's funeral Mass has been changed to St. Joseph's Church at 11:00 AM. Inurnment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
