Fall River – Roxanne F. Costa (Ferreira), age 71, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 30th.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel S. and Irene (Moniz) Ferreira.  She is the beloved wife of Arthur J. Costa.

Prior to her retirement Roxanne was a teacher for the Somerset Schools for over thirty years where she made a great impact on her students.  She was an avid reader and loved watching crime shows such as CSI and NCIS with her dog Bently.  She was an amazing wife, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother and she will be deeply missed.

Roxanne is survived by her husband, Arthur J. Costa; her son; Andrew Costa and his wife Laura; her brother, Robert Ferreira and his wife Betty; her nephew Jonathan Ferreira; and her two grandchildren, Emma Costa and Raya Costa. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her daughter, Amanda Leonardo
