Tiverton -        Royal C. Boudria, age 88, passed away on Monday January 24 ^th , 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  He was the son of the late Dominique & Jeannette (Gaboriau) Boudria.

He was a life-long resident of Fall River, had been residing in Tiverton, RI for the past few years and he enjoyed spending the winter months in Frostproof, F.L.  He was a proud member of the United States Airforce, serving his country during the Korean War as a staff sergeant. Royal then obtained an associate's degree in business from Johnson & Wales University.  He worked for many years at GTE in Needham as a supervisor.  Royal enjoyed spending his time golfing, playing darts, bowling, watching the Celtics and above all, he loved being with his family.

Royal is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joan (Ventura) Boudria; his children, Valerie Kochan and her husband Matthew of Somerset and Christopher Boudria of Berkley; his siblings Theodore Boudria of Westport and Cornel Boudria of Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Matthew C. Kochan and his wife Linda of Fall River and Jonathan Kochan of Somerset; sister-in-law Pauline Freitas of Swansea as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Royal was predeceased by his brother Fernald E. Boudria.

His funeral will be held on Monday January 31 ^st at 9:00 A.M. from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N Main Street, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 A.M.
