Fall River – Ruben M. Santos, 22, passed away unexpectedly on March 5 ^th .  Born in Saint Michael, Azores, he was the son of Carlos A. Santos and Evangeline Amaral.

Ruben was raised and attended the local schools in Fall River.  He enjoyed spending time with his cousins, ordering takeout and just goofing around.  Ruben was the life of the party, he had a contagious sense of humor, the funniest jokes and was able to make any one smile just by being around.  He would light up the room as soon as he entered.  He liked to spend his time playing video games and hanging out with his close friends.  Ruben loved being with his girlfriend, Felicity Cioe and her son, whom Ruben was like a father figure to.  He adored children and was an amazing son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend and he will be fiercely missed.

Besides his parents, Ruben is survived by his sister Emily Santos; his grandparents; Jose and Maria Branco; his uncles and aunt; Joao Santos, Paulo Medeiros and Ana Medeiros; his cousins; Anabela Medeiros, Sofia Medeiros, Kaitlynn Resendes, Nathan Resendes; his godparents; Maria Santos, Ruben Santos, Abilio Resendes; his loving girlfriend, Felicity Cioe and her son; as well as his close friends: Nathan Raposo, Kyle Rego and Bryan Moreta.

Rubens funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, on March 13th, at 9:00 A.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M.
