FALL RIVER – Ruth M. (Rebello) Hoffman, age 85, passed away on January 14, 2025, at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Grace (Ryan) Rebello.

Ruth had a love for animals, especially her 3 late dogs Lady, Tiny and Pal. She also loved spending time with her family and was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ruth was a long-time parishioner at St. Joseph's Parish.

She was loved by many people including her daughters Donna Cabral of Somerset, Kathleen Riley of Tiverton and the late Suzanne Hoffman-Beaulieu; grandchildren Tim, the late Jeff, Rachel, John Charles and Christopher; great-grandchildren Kaylee and Adriana; her extended family John Kahn, his wife Shahana and their children Dany, Mashaal, Ayaan and Afzal; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family members who will sadly miss her. She was predeceased by her siblings Josephine Caizzi, Helen Leighow and William Rebello.

Following cremation, her funeral service will begin at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River at 9 A.M. on Thursday, January 30th followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Parish at 10 A.M. Inurnment at Notre Dame Cemetery.
