FALL RIVER – Sabatino "Sam" DeMasi, age 72 and a longtime resident of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023 unexpectedly at his residence. Born in Naples, Italy, Sam was the father of Eric DeMasi of Fairhaven and the son of the late Giovanni DeMasi and the late Barbara (Luciano) DeMasi.

Prior to retiring, Sam worked as a truck driver for many years.

In addition to his son, Eric, survivors include his former wife: Kim DeMasi of Laconia, NH; 3 sisters: Mariann Giaquinto of Naples, Italy, Vincenza Vigliotti of Norwood, MA, and Rose Cabral of Fall River, MA; nieces & nephews.
