Below is a heartfelt tribute to capture the essence of who Scott was as a person. Scott my beloved husband who I cherished with all my heart, every part of my being had a heart of gold, a larger-than-life personality, was very loving, caring, a funny man. He would give you the shirt off his back, help others, the ones he loved even if it meant he would be sick for days. If he cared about you, loved you, you knew it. Scott showed a hard shell but really was a big teddy bear. As a child he enjoyed being in the Boys Scouts of America and in a gun club with his father who he loved and adored. He also spent a lot of time with his mother exploring Massachusetts and Rhode Island when he was young.
Scott often went to Pontoosuc Lake with a childhood friend and his family he loved going there. Scott loved to explore he would ride his bicycle with his cousin Ricky Miranda who he dearly loved all over to Dighton, Freetown, Newport, wherever he could pedal, then he moved onto dirt bikes, custom bikes, custom Ninja motorcycles and custom Harley Davidsons, and together we got an Ultra Classic Ultra Glide which we customized. Scott just loved riding, we both did. He loved going to Laconia, New Hampshire during bike week with his cousin Kirk Carrier who he loved dearly and went for many years with friends. Scott just loved driving any vehicle to New Hampshire and seeing their beautiful waterfalls, mountains, change of seasons colorful scenery. We both did an went many times together and other places.
Scott loved going out clubbing with another cousin Karen (Carrier) Perreira who he loved and adored with her husband Tony. Scott also loved watching the sunset and taken moonlit walks on the beach we enjoyed them so much together. And he loved hand feeding the squirrels, letting them jump on his shoulder, feeding them. Scott every summer would plant sunflowers for me because he knew I love sunflowers he would grow different kinds and colors he was just so thoughtful. Scott was also a Fall River Elks Lodge #118 B.P.O.E member and later became an Elks Rider Lodge #118 member, we're both members and we've met some wonderful people, Brothers & Sisters who have become great friends and always had great times together. Scott was a master welder that's where the nickname "Scotty Pipe" comes from. He held many different licenses for many years and even went to Aruba for a job to do underwater welding. He loved welding and he also had a Hoisting Engineer license for many years, and he took glass blowing classes.
Scott was very humble and I'm not just saying this because he was my husband but he was very smart, new things the average person doesn't. If you knew him you know what I'm talking about. The day Scott passed away not only I, his family, friends, friends who are like family, loss a great, great man. Rest In Heavenly Paradise My Love. I hope and pray in Jesus name that you're pain free back to yourself reunited with your Dad, Donny, family and friends. I Love you and miss you so, so much, with all my heart and soul and always will!!! God Bless Your Soul.
