FALL RIVER - Susan DeOliveira, 59, born Susan Carvalho on July 31, 1967, at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on August 17, 2026, in Bermuda.

Susan was the beloved daughter of Marilyn and Arthur Carvalho, a cherished sister to Alan Carvalho, Cheryl Carvalho, Lisa Almeida, David Carvalho, and Christopher Carvalho, and the loving wife of Rui Deoliveira, whom she married on December 10, 2016. Rui was her best friend and partner through life, and together they shared a beautiful marriage filled with love, laughter, travel, and countless memories.

She was a devoted mother to her children, Shantei Paranada, Kahealani Kaaloa, Alec and Aydan DeOliveira and a proud and loving Nannie to Sundae, Siena, Valley, Addison and Juliana. Her family was at the center of her world, and her grandchildren brought her an incredible amount of joy.

Susan worked as the office manager at Dartmouth Pediatrics since 2005. She was caring, loving, helpful, and someone her family & friends could always count on.

She loved going on cruises, playing bingo, visiting the casino, spending time at the beach, trying restaurants, and, of course, getting ice cream. Those who knew Susan will always remember her for speaking her mind with a smile, her laughter, and simply being unapologetically herself.

Susan's funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 9:45am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts, where she will be laid to rest with military honors. Susan proudly served her country in the United States Navy.

Susan was deeply loved, and the space she leaves behind can never be filled. Her family will forever carry her love, her laughter, and the memories they were lucky enough to share with her.
