BOSTON – Susanna M. Cabral, of Swansea, age 70, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Laureno "Larry" Cabral. Born in São Jose, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Jose de Medeiros Silva and Maria Eularia de Medeiros Silva. Susanna enjoyed cooking, going on vacations, doing yard work with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with her husband she was loved and cherished by many people including her children Paulo Jorge of Swansea, Nuno Jorge of Swansea, Rogeio Jorge of Fall River, Hugo Jorge of Fall River and Bobby Jorge of Fall River; siblings João Silva of Fall River, Bella (Belinha) Averill of Terceira, Helder Silva of Terceira, Manuela Resendes of Terceira, Soãzinha Soares of Terceira, Lucia Gonclaves of Terceira and Fatima Alveraz of Mexico; 3 grandchildren Tory, Morgan and Liam Jorge; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, July 18th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael's Church at 10 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Monday, July 17th from 4-7 P.M.
