FALL RIVER - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa (Ayotte) Howarth, age 79, on April 4th peacefully at home. She was the wife of the late Albert B. Howarth Jr. Born in Fall River, to the late Louis and Rita (Daviaux) Ayotte.

Prior to her retirement, Theresa dedicated many years to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She spent over 16 years at Crystal Springs in Assonet, where she was known for her compassion, patience, and unwavering commitment to her residents. Before that, she worked for five years at the Fall River Jewish Nursing Home, continuing her lifelong passion for helping those in need. Theresa took great pride in her work and formed meaningful connections with those she cared for, leaving a lasting impression on both her colleagues and the families she served.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her children Christine Ferreira (late Kevin Ferreira Sr.), Robert St. Ours, Albert Howarth III (wife Christine), Joanne St. Ours and the late Tammy Howarth; siblings Romeo B. Ayotte, Ronald Ayotte, Sandra Luiz, David W. Ayotte, Deborah Robert, Gary Ayotte and the late Loretta Ferreira and Joyce Desmarais; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and several other family members that will truly miss her.

Her calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, April 9th from 4-7 P.M. with a service at 6:30 P.M. by Chaplain Ines Bates. Cremation to follow.
