Fall River – Theresa McElroy entered into rest on January 4, 2023, 88 years old.  She passed away peacefully at St. Annes Hospital.

Born to Peter and Mary McElroy, she was the youngest of ten children, all who have predeceased her.  Theresa grew up in Fall River, a life long resident, who worked as a seamstress in the Fall River Garment Industry until she retired in 1998.  She was also a lifelong parishioner of Good Shepherd Parish (The former St. Patrick's Church).  She was an avid Red Sox fan, and enjoyed outings with friends and family.

The family wishes to acknowledge the staff of South Pointe Nursing Home for the wonderful care she received and the family also wishes to thank the housekeeper Teresa on Arborside for the kindness she showed Theresa.

Theresa's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Monday, January 9 ^th at 9:30 A.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral at 10:00 A.M.  A morning visitation will be held on Monday, January 9 ^th beginning at 8:30 A.M.  To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.rogersfuneral.com
