FALL RIVER – Theresa J. Stone, age 83, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 8, 2024 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Miranda) Correa. Prior to retirement, Theresa worked as a CNA for multiple nursing homes.

She was devoted to her 9 children, the late Dorothy Stone, Robert Stone, Michael Stone, Carol Stone, Larry Stone, Elizabeth Petrosso, John Stone, Laurie Freitas and Cheri Stone. Theresa is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Carol Donahue, Everette Correa, Richard Correa, Beverly Clark and Alyson Roscoe. Along w her daughter, she was predeceased by her brother Joseph Correa.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Thursday, March 14th with extended calling hours from 8:30-10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
