Fall River – Theresa "Terry" Warhall (Bettencourt), age 82, of Fall River, passed away on May 30, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family.  She joins the love of her life, the late Richard "Dick" Warhall. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Alice (Rogers) Bettencourt.

Prior to her retirement, Terry worked for the Fall River School Department for 37 years in the cafeteria at the Matthew J. Kuss Middle School.  She enjoyed spending time in her kitchen, baking new cookies including what everyone would agree were her best, German cookies.  Everyone looked forward to their cookie tin at Christmas. She liked trips to the beach and watching westerns on TV where she had a knack for knowing the names of all the actors and actresses.  She met the love of her life at the age of 15. They were married for 61 years.  Terry would want everyone to remember that life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans, and to enjoy every moment.  She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, godmother, and friend. She was an extremely caring soul and always put her family before herself. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Rick Warhall and his wife Valerie, Terri Warhall-Cabral, and Mark Warhall and his wife Sandra; her sister, Alice Sa; her grandchildren, Aidan and his wife Jesse, Brett, Eric, Alex, August, and Lisa; as well as several nieces and nephews and her grand pup, Lucky.  Besides her husband and her parents, Terry was predeceased by her siblings; Janet Dootson and William and George Bettencourt.

Terry's funeral will be held on Monday, June 6 ^th at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N Main St. Fall River at 9:00 A.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Mary's Cathedral at 10:00 A.M.  Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, June 5 ^th from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.  To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.rogersfuneral.com
