Thirza M. (Gray) Simas, age 92 and a longtime resident of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025. Thirza was the beloved wife of the late John C. Simas and the daughter of the late George E. Gray and the late Harriett (Creamer) Gray.

Prior to retiring, Thirza worked as a Registered Nurse caring for our veterans at the VA Hospital. Thirza was a long-time student of the Bible who enjoyed sharing the things she had learned.

A service for Thirza will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9 Wilbur Ave., Warren, RI 02885.
