It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Cordeiro Sr., who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Husband of 57 years to Margaret "Peggy" (Desrosiers) Cordeiro and born in Fall River, son of the late David and Elizabeth (Furtado) Cordeiro. Thomas was a member of the Knights of Columbus Post 86 and VFW in Tiverton Post 5392, where he was known as "Happy Feet" because of his love to dance. He also loved to travel and play cards. Thomas was a parishioner and lector at the former Our Lady of Health Church for many years. Before retiring, Thomas was employed as a machinist and delivered flowers for Silvia's Florist.

Thomas was a kind and loving father to his children Denise Moreira (husband Francisco Moreira) of Fall River and Thomas Cordeiro Jr. (wife Dawn Cordeiro) of Attleboro; brother of David Cordeiro, Elizabeth "Betty" Charette, John Cordeiro and the late Angela Farias. Thomas also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, November 21st from 8-10 A.M. with a service to immediately follow.
